Northbound applies the rigor of a defense program to business automation: clearly scoped, fully documented, and built to run without you.

Before founding Northbound, Kyler was a Program Manager at Northrop Grumman, embedded in one of the most demanding program environments in defense. On the F-35 Lightning II program he operated at the intersection of global supply chain, finance, and operational execution, where the margin for error is zero and the cost of failure is measured in national security.
That environment doesn't tolerate ambiguity. Every process is documented. Every deviation is tracked. Every supplier is accountable. Northbound was built on that same standard.
We don't patch workflows with duct tape. We design end-to-end agentic automation systems with the same rigor applied to high-velocity defense programs, clearly scoped, fully documented, and built to run without you.

Daniel is the technical co-founder of Northbound and a Metallic Structures Design Engineer on the F-35 Lightning II at Northrop Grumman. His work touches every phase of structural design, building and modifying airframe components, pushing changes through government approval, and solving supplier requests. His components fly in the center fuselage of the most advanced tactical fighter in the U.S. inventory.
That environment exposed one consistent failure: the data exists, the solutions exist, but the visibility to act on them doesn't. Late parts aren't a capability problem, they're a coordination failure happening upstream where no one has eyes on it.
Northbound is the engineering answer to that. Daniel holds the technical architecture of the platform, bringing aerospace structures and production experience to the systems we build.
If it wouldn't survive a Department of War audit, we don't ship it.
The principles that guide every system we build and every client relationship we maintain.
We measure success by what happens on the floor: parts that ship on time, material that lands when promised, and schedules that hold.
Most shops are up and running in days, not months, because Northbound plugs into the ERP and floor systems you already run instead of replacing them.
Every flag traces back to your real data, and anything we can't verify is marked unverified rather than invented.
Defense-grade from day one: CUI-ready, tenant-isolated, and audit-logged, built to hold up under real production load and compliance scrutiny.
Both founders came from F-35 production, so we understand the real constraints of a shop: raw-material lead times, whiteboard scheduling, tight margins, and no slack.
The system gets sharper the more you run it, scoring every prediction against what actually shipped so forecasts tighten over time.
A 30-minute walkthrough on your operation. We'll show you exactly where a custom system would move the needle.
